42 Things I Love About Paris

Here’s a blast from the past…an album I posted on The Paris Blog in 2009!

women-in-furs1With a little time on my hands today, I sifted through my photos and made an album of the 42 Things I Love About Paris. If you have a similar album somewhere, send me the link and I will post it on The Paris Blog.

Your pictures of Paris and the comments that you wrote under the differents pictures are funny and meaningful for me because it reminds me of France and how much I miss it because I am french. I am living in the Sultanate of Oman and here the french people are not really like you see them in France.
What I agree with is that people talk a lot with their hands, especially in the south because the italians do that a lot. Also french drink wine, not all the time at lunch but they do sometimes, and they smoke a lot. When you were talking about “La petanque”, it reminds me my grandpa because he lived in the South of France in Provence and in the South, it is the regional sports over there every people, especially old men play “a la Petanque”. Did you try it? I love France for the Haute-Couture and for the Bistros and the Subways.

For me France is just an Art country.

I loved your album, and was inspired by your request for others, and went ahead and constructed my own Paris album at http://www.escapetoparis.com//2009/02/things-i-love-about-paris/, and also included a link back to yours.
