Rue Voltaire is conveniently located close to all the major Paris attractions. Many destinations, such as the Marais, are easily reached on foot. There are also several bus lines that run close to the building, and a metro stop—rue des Boulets–a half a block down the street.

Here’s the view from the apartment window. It’s a safe, friendly neighborhood with lots of shops and cafes on either end of the street. The relatively low buildings allow for plenty of natural light into the apartment.

3-building-exterior

Here’s the building’s exterior. There is an electronic “digicode” for buzzing people in on the right side of the door. People need to have keys, or be buzzed in, to two separate doors before accessing the staircase that leads to the apartment.

Here is the main lobby on the other side of the wood entry doors. Vintage tile and wood paneling are très Parisian.
