Let me introduce you to… Santa Rita, the Patron Saint of the lost causes! I found her church by coincidence in the 15th arrondissement. The church in itself is not really spectacular, but the story is. It claims to belong to the Church of France better known as Gallicane, a church that accepts the Vatican authority–to a limited extent. Anothing thing that distinguishes this house of worship is that once a year people can bring their animals (and not only pets, according to the poster!) to be blessed.
