Hot Mess!

One of the city’s top tourist spots, Notre Dame, is a hot mess! A ginormous Christmas tree has been erected in front, adorned in a gloppy lava flow of lights. Directly behind are bleachers, a fenced-off area, and a huge, view-blocking box celebrating the church’s 850 years. Le FAIL! Don’t yet get the feeling that sometimes Paris goes too far in commemorating and celebrating?

I dont think so , I somehow think Paris doesn’t have enough festivities ,there are not even fireworks at midnight on January 1st… imagine Rockefeller Center, Sydney Opera Hall or London Eye … Paris is stuck in the past and its a pity.

Do the French need some Americans to come over to show how to decorate a Christmas tree?

Out and About in Paris has a very different take on this same scene. Vive la difference! http://www.outandaboutinparis.com/2013/12/love-tenderness-understanding-and-unity.html
