Marais Flat Rental

This sunny and quiet studio in the center of the Marais can by rented by the day at 65 euros a day, or $100 US. There is a 6-day minimum. All utilities, phone and wifi are included. A discount applies to rentals of one month or more.

The sofabed in the corner is sturdy and comfortable. There is no separate bed or bedroom.

Plenty of light comes through the windows. The windows are double glazed for weather- and noise-proofing.

There is free DSL and cable TV in the apartment, as well as a DVD player and a phone from which you can make free calls internationally.

Kitchen amenities include two burners, a microwave, toaster, toaster-oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishes, glassware, pots and pants, and utensils for cooking and serving.

The bathroom was recently renovated. It has a shower, sink, toilet, heated towel rack and washing machine. There’s plenty of hot water and you don’t have to wait for it to heat up.

Sheets and towels are provided. Additional amenities include a hairdryer, ironing board and iron, soap, city maps and guides, and a smattering of trashy novels.

HOW TO RENT

First, check availability.

(If the dates you want are not free, try these other locations: Montmartre and Bastille.)

Then send an email with your check-in and check-out dates.

We will send you a rental contract with all the details in it.

A deposit of $100 US (or 100 euros) is required to confirm reservation. This can be done by PayPal, check, or bank transfer. We are not yet equipped to take credit cards.

Reservations made by email are pending until deposit has been received.

Reservations are confirmed when deposit payment has cleared.

Rent is due 2 weeks before arrival.

Check-in time is 5 PM and check-out is noon. There is flexibility with those times if no one is booked immediately before or after you; however, reservations are taken 24 hours a day up until the day of arrival, so the only way to guarantee early check-in or late check-out is to book an extra night.

The security deposit is returned by check after the tenant has checked out and the manager has inspected the apartment.

There is a 50-euro cleaning fee due in cash for the housekeeper at the end of the stay.
