The Send Lucy to Paris fund is growing! We had a most touching contribution from Ben, Lucy’s 4-year-old brother. He brought her two $2 bills from his piggy bank and gave a hug on top of it. I don’t remember that kind of generosity between me and Lucy’s mother, who is my sister. In fact, I distinctly remember my wheat penny collection going missing one day when we were teenagers and Lucy’s mother returning home with a suspiciously large amount of candy…but I digress. Lucy also received a nice donation from a Denmark man who is a fan of The Paris Blog. And finally, an acquaintance of Lucy has a relative who may be able to help her get bumped to first class on the flight. To accompany Lucy on the flight, I’ll be in coach, as usual.
