The 85th annual Foire Nationale à la Brocante et aux Jambons is a mix of over 800 stands selling antiques and bric-a-brac, plus an entire section dedicated to regional French foods, particulary pork in all its varieties. Back in the Middle Ages, this same fair took place outside Notre Dame Cathedral, but now it’s spread out on the Ile de Chatou, just north of Paris, also known as the Impressionists Island, since many artists, such as Renoir. loved to go out to this countryside island to paint. Through October 7. Entry €5.
