Paris has gone cupcake crazy, and I, for one, say, ”What took them so long?” As the recent post on HiP Paris Blog shows, cupcake joints are popping up all over Paris. It seems like everyone and their maman is showing off their recipe for les cupcakes. And what better arena to strut their stuff than Cupcake Camp, an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and eat cupcakes. Over the past year or so, the camps have crisscrossed the globe, and finally is pitching its tent au bord de la Seine this summer. Spearheaded by American-Cupcakes-in-Paris trailblazer Little Miss Cupcake, Cupcake Camp Paris will take place on Sunday, July 4 at Bistro Vivienne in the 2nd arrondissement. Bakers of every level are welcome to bring their own cupcakes to share or just show up and eat! Plus, all proceeds (less expenses) from the 10€ entry fee will go to the charity Rebuilding Haiti Now. Visit Cupcake Camp Paris’ Facebook page to register, and I hope to see you on July 4th!
