Woody Allen’s Paris

Like many Woody Allen fans, I didn’t much care for Midnight in Paris. It had less emotional depth than Allen’s last European valentine, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, and while I could watch that film’s leading man, Javier Bardem, for hours on end, I run out of patience with Owen Wilson. Still, I ate up Midnight‘s ample use of city locations, cliched as they were. And whether you saw the movie or not, any Francophile will enjoy this map of the show’s main locations with background info, published by the city of Paris.

I think I could watch Penelope in that movie (Vicky B) for hours, in all of her passion and fiery sexuality. Still need to see this one for the views of Paris….was about to take myself out on a date last night to do so.

I haven’t seen the movie yet but Paris is the main reason for watching.
