About
The Paris Blog is a group blog in English about life in Paris. More than two dozen bloggers contribute regularly for a kaleidoscopic view of the city. Most contributors are anglophone expats who have made Paris their home, although there are a few who are French but write in English. The blog is edited by Laurie Pike with tech help from Brian Flemming. Click here to submit feedback.

…”For my money, the best blogs don’t try to provide services or sell anything, but are simply about whatever interests the author. The better writing in English can also be found at these city-linked blogs. Www.theparisblog.com is a collection of writings from Paris edited by Laurie Pike, an American who has lived in the city on and off for years. She devotes about two hours a day to writing, editing other bloggers, and also excerpting entries she finds at other blogs. Writers include Americans, Canadians, Brits and a couple of Frenchmen. Subjects run the gamut from politics to pop culture to one blogger’s thoughts on a favorite fruit seller in Montparnasse. ‘The beauty of blogs is that you’re reading stuff by real people,’ she says. ‘There’s not that corporate filter.’”
